Bluetooth RS232 Communication Bluetooth is now on the factory floor, communicate with your machines using a wireless system. This system uses office network technology, a versatile system that can not only network printers, office PC's, fax machines, laptops and mobile phones, but, now we can communicate with machine tools. A small Bluetooth reciever is mounted inside the electrical panel with its small arial exposed, then linked by a small run of cable to the RS232 port on the control system. A bluetooth server is connected to a PC in the office or on the shop floor and point to point linked with the device on the machine. The point to point connection prevents any interference from Bluetooth on mobile phones or any RF devices. Ideal for RS232 Backup/Restore functions, Part program RS232 Download/Upload and RS232 DNC. The system works reliably up to 1000 meters with upto 14 connections per server in a busy machine shop with a safe, direct, secure connection.
